ECDL CAD is the first independent standard for core skills in 2-dimensional (2-D) computer aided design (CAD). This internationally recognised qualification allows employers to benchmark employee skills, as well as providing a good starting point for an individual's development. GlenCo Development Solutions are Scotland's premier training and testing centre for this qualification. Whether you are new to CAD, or would like to certify your existing skills, this qualification is an asset to your professional development .

Certification is awarded following the successful completion of a 1-hour practical exam. You are tested on your skills in using 2-D CAD software techniques. A successful candidate will prove that they can use the standard features of CAD software as well as being able to produce outputs. In addition to these standard features, successful candidates will also demonstrate their skills in using some of the more advanced features of the software.
